We are now looking for summer substitutes for the teams at our waste facilities. There is an opportunity for both shorter employment and longer substitutes that extend over the entire summer period. You will work at one of our facilities in Gothenburg.

Description

As an employee at Renova, you become an important player and get to be in a workplace where no day is the same. After a training period, you can manage operations in an efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly manner. You get a chance to make a real difference.

At all facilities, we process waste to contribute to a more circular waste management by turning waste into new raw materials and products that can be utilized as resources in society.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks include mostly administrative duties but also practical parts such as managing operations and our treatment plants. The work involves handling our weighing system, monitoring and managing the operations and our treatment plants. You will be part of several processes, where each step is like a cog in a chain.

Your mission will be to ensure that waste is handled efficiently and correctly. The role means being Renova's face to the public regarding waste management. Our customers should always feel secure that we take care of their waste in the best possible way for the environment.

Our working hours are mostly during the day, weekdays.

Qualifications

• High school education
• Good administrative and IT skills.
• Speak, understand, and write Swedish at an independent level
• Basic English.
• Work at our facilities requires a B driver's license in most cases.
• Loader and forklift licenses are advantageous for some positions.

It is also advantageous if you are interested in continuing to work extra with us after the summer.

You are Renova's face to the public and will meet customers daily in your work. Therefore, it is important that you are positive and show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You collaborate well with others and are flexible and solution-oriented in your way of acting. You are used to and can handle stressful situations. You are responsible, show commitment to your work, and of course, have an interest in environmental issues!
